I love the public library system. I have been using the library since I was a child and my parents would take me and my siblings to the library every Saturday. The library has always been a haven for me. A place that I felt safe and protected, where I could explore my interests and activities without judgement. If I wanted to learn about something, I went to the library and asked a librarian. And it’s FREE! Have I said that. It doesn’t cost anything if you are mindful of returning books on time and keeping track of them.
So, yes, I love the library. You might have to wait a bit for a new book to get to you, but my library has a great hold system. The following is a list of books that I have on hold currently. Can’t wait to read these books!

A Promised Land by Barack Obama
Do I need to say anything about this book. I’m so looking forward to reading this book.

Good Morning, Midnight by Lily Brooks-Dalton
This book is the basis for the Netflix movie, Midnight Sky.

Malorie by Josh Malerman
A follow-up to Birdbox!

Radiance by Grace Draven
A fantasy love story with an arranged marriage of two people of different species. Sounds interesting.

Remote Control by Nnedi Okorafor
“She’s the adopted daughter of the Angel of Death. Beware of her. Mind her. Death guards her like one of its own.”

Stormdancer by Jay Kristoff
A dystopian, steampunk fantasy!! Yup, I’m into it!
Do you use the public library? What books do you have on hold at your library? What books are you most looking forward to reading?
